MA Hazing Law and Harvard Policies

In accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Harvard policy prohibits hazing. Below are links to the Massachusetts' Hazing Law and to the Harvard policies about hazing that appear in the Harvard College Handbook for Students.

Non-Hazing Attestation Form
All student organizations or teams, both recognized and unrecognized (e.g. club sport teams, fraternities, sororities, and final clubs), must sign and return the non-hazing attestation form to Deans Judith Kidd and Dean Paul McLoughlin II in the Office of Student Activities located at University Hall, First Floor Center. The form must be completed and returned by December 15, 2007.

Officer Contact Information
All student organizations (both recognized and unrecognized) must provide the Office of Student Activities with contact information for all undergraduate officers by October 31, 2007.

Note: The Department of Athletics will collect this information for members of athletic teams and club sport teams, and will provide it to the Office of the Dean of Harvard College.
